First year scouts.  New boy scouts do not choose merit badges the first year of summer camp.  A structured program, similar to Webelos week, is offered which helps the scout complete requirements for the first 4 scout badges (Scouter, Tenderfoot, 2nd Class, 1st Class).  The program also provides daily swimming or swim lessons, and a merit badge or two.
